Glide path
A target-date fund's schedule for shifting from mostly stocks toward bonds as its target date approaches.
A "to" glide path reaches its most cautious mix at the target date and then stops changing. A "through" glide path keeps shifting for years after the date.
Each fund shows its glide path as a chart on its website or in its prospectus. Two funds with the same year can follow very different paths.
